Dancing with Karen
Health Protection Policy
We are fortunate to live in an area which has not yet experienced community spread of the Coronavirus.
So far we have seen common sense dictate the behavior of our dance family and feel that people are being very conscientious about protecting themselves and their fellow dancers from this health hazard.
Due to worldwide concern over this health issue, we have implemented the following procedures to help us continue to enjoy our love of dance!
Below, please find the current DwK studio policies designed to help us all stay safe! We will review these on a regular basis and make changes as necessary.
On a daily basis, we are already sanitizing all the surfaces that people normally touch during their studio visits. We are using a disinfectant that lasts 24 hours, so that there is no re-infection as multiple people touch things during the course of the evening.
We are also covering the soft surfaces i.e. upholstered furniture with cloth which will be changed and sanitized daily.
We already have hand sanitizer, wipes and tissues available.
Because we cannot control the environment in any other facility but our own, all DwK dancing activities will be limited to the studio premises for the months of March and April. By the end of April we will reassess for the following months.
We are counting on everyone to use common sense when deciding whether to attend a class. Please follow these policies and do not attend if you fall into any of the categories below:
a. If you are coughing, sneezing, have a temperature, unusual shortness of breath.
b. If you have visited any country outside the USA within the last 14 days.
c. If, in the last 14 days, you have been in known contact with anyone who has shown symptoms of the virus.
d. If you have returned from a cruise in the last 14 days.
